With 20
years of experience in public relations, marketing and brand development,
Kristin Weissman is a multi-award-winning executive who currently serves as the
Founder and CEO of Studio K (www.studiokorlando.com), an entertainment studio
featuring the largest variety of dance and dance fitness classes for adults.
She also owns the professional cosmetics line, Kristin Noelle Cosmetics, the
national public relations firm, Kristin Noelle Consulting, and the leading
entertainment blog and former lifestyle magazine, The Backdrop.
Before
leading these efforts, Kristin was the Director of Marketing and Communications
for Windermere Preparatory School, as well as the Director of Public Relations
for Full Sail University, an entertainment media university outside of Orlando,
FL. Kristin worked with events such as the GRAMMY® and Academy Awards®, WWE,
ESPN, and high profile and celebrity projects in film, music, and video game
development.
Prior to
this position, Kristin served as the Director of Communications for Give Kids
The World, a non-profit resort for children with life-threatening illnesses
where she lead efforts such as the Tournament of Roses Parade, and worked in
public relations with partners including NASCAR, Wal-Mart, and Procter &
Gamble.
However,
before relocating to Orlando, Kristin originated her career in the casino
industry working in both marketing and operations for Harrah’s Entertainment,
as well as for the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort.
Kristin
has also served as the National Public Relations Manager for the Miss America
Organization in Atlantic City, NJ, helping to produce the nationally televised
live broadcast, and represented both Miss America 2000 and 2001.
In
addition to the companies she has represented, Kristin has also proudly worked
closely with dozens of top-level celebrity talent and with
television shows including: American
Idol, So You Think You Can Dance, Step Up, Rock of Ages, Dance Moms and the
Lifetime Network. Kristin also personally made it to the final non-televised
round of Shark Tank with her
business, Studio K.
Kristin is
currently ranked in the top 1% of the nation for crisis communications, has
received Congressional recognition for her work in Public Relations, and was
most recently named among the 20 “Women of the Year” for 2019 by Orlando Magazine.
In
addition to Kristin’s public relations and marketing career, she is also a
published author with two books on the market: Barbie: The Icon, The Image, The Ideal - An Analytical Interpretation
of the Barbie Doll in Popular Culture, and served as a contributing writer
to the book, A+ Marketing: Proven Tactics
